25 things people do not know about me or maybe they do

  1. I truly believe I am a good person
  2. I do not take time for myself, others always come first
  3. I hope to have a celebration of life when I turn 49.95 years old
  4. I love my daughter more than life itself, she is why I am here
  5. I have poor judgment when it comes to matters of the heart, no regrets, just poor judgment
  6. When we chose a path we never know what will lie in its path for us to overcome
  7. I believe myself to me an open and accepting person; with all hopes that I do not judge others for any reason…for you cannot judge unless you have walked in another’s shoes.
  8. I do not like to be verbally berated; I have suffered a lifetime of words that can not be taken back and caused me to judge who I am.  So, I try to choose my words carefully.
  9. I believe that what you give in life will return to you, if not immediately in the future, so be wise with you actions and words.
  10. My intuition is usually 95% right and I am learning to believe in it
  11. When I most needed a place to belong, I was turned away, but I have now found a place where I am comfortable.
  12. I am blessed with a beautiful circle of caring and loving friends.  I can turn to them at any moment, they are my lifeline…I am truly blessed
  13. In the next few months I will go through the biggest change in my life…I will be living alone for the first time ever in 49.5 years, I embrace this new challenge.
  14. I work hard at my job and probably give more than I should, but my nature is to make things come out right in the end and to make life easier for the people I work with and for.
  15. When I die, I want my epitaph on my headstone to read, “She was a good person, loved by many, and will see you on the other side.”
  16. I want to make a difference in the lives I touch.
  17. I love and admire my parents for what they survived in their lives, WWII and all the horrors of it…they gave us a home…..they are my foundation and I am blessed to still have them in my life.
  18. I am blessed to have two sisters, one with whom I am close and confide and one, whom I am estranged from due to substance abuse, which I am unable to cope with and hope to I the future to overcome that obstacle.
  19. I have hard time forgiving….I am working on it.  I understand you can forgive, but that does not make what the other person did okay…that helps me rationalize.
  20. My favorite time of day is when the sky is clear and that wonderful dark blue just before the sun sets and the moon and starts are taking over the sky.
  21. I think we should all treat others the way we want to be treated and the world would be a kinder gentler place.
  22. I believe in spirits, I have been visited by spirits of friends and family that have died and have come back to visit me and explain the whys and wherefore’s of their deaths.
  23. I believe there is not much we have control in when it comes to our lives, things can change in a heartbeat, no matter how much you plan…I have come to the top and now am at the bottom, but as humbling as it has been…I have learned so much.
  24. The practice of listening is one of the most important skills you can learn.  It is amazing what you can learn if you stop and listen.  We have so much to teach each other.
  25. I am grateful for each day, good or bad, there are lessons to be learned, I count at least one blessing a day, even on the toughest days there is always one good thing.

My baby is growing up :o)

Starting Monday January 5th my daughter will start student teaching, the last part of her journey through K.U.  I am proud, she will be an amazing music teacher, it is her passion as well as the children.

I am blessed to call her my daughter, because she makes a difference in every life she touches.

You will be amazing...I love you!
